Has LJ actually been down for the last day and a half, or does the site just hate me? I haven't seen anyone anywhere talking about it.

Posting from Latest Things - I've been reading that there is a datacenter outage. It seems that LJ updated the maintenance community once but hasn't kept updating it since. Some people are able to view posts but they're not able to comment.

http://status.livejournal.org/ is now saying it's a large-scale DDoS attack. Earlier I was able to slooooooowly get LJ to open, but not fully load. I'm not trying for a whle to avoid adding to the overload...

Yup, it's down. No word on whether this is another DDOS attack or the LJapocalypse yet.
